Team Including CSC Lab Members Receives CAA Scientific and Technological Achievement Award

The 2024 Chinese Association of Automation Science and Technology Awards ceremony was held in Beijing on May 25, 2025. The Industrial Process Intelligent Optimization and Control Team at Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s School of Automation and Sensing received the CAA Scientific and Technological Achievement Award in the Innovation Team category. CSC Lab members Professor Yugeng Xi, Professor Dewei Li, and Researcher Jing Wu were included in the official list of contributors.

The team has built a sustained body of work in industrial process optimization and control, spanning predictive-control theory, engineering applications, and talent development. Its technologies have been deployed in process-industry settings including petrochemicals and steel manufacturing.
